Bob Almberg
President
Bob Almberg is an IT Department Manager for a Fortune 50 company.  He has been an active member of the NJ InfraGard Chapter since 2002 and attended the FBI Newark Division Citizen's Academy in 2005.  Bob has worked with many information security related technologies and has been involved in the deployment of technology worldwide over the past 20 years.  Past positions include Systems Engineering Manager, Corporate Schools Instructor, Subsidiary Integration Manager, Data Acquisition Systems Manager, and International Field Support Manager.  During the later part of the 1980's and early 1990's, Bob completed technology deployment assignments based out of Hong Kong and London, working in over 15 countries in the Asia Pacific and Europe Regions.  Bob has a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems and completed an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management.  Bob served as an Armor Officer, Infantry Company Executive Officer, and Combat Engineer in the US Army Reserves.


Scott Christie
Board Member
Scott Christie is a partner of the law firm McCarter & English, LLP.  He is a trial lawyer who actively litigates all types of intellectual property, information technology and data privacy cases, as well as white collar criminal cases.  He also counsels clients in and handles transactional matters involving legal issues in these and related areas.

Mr. Christie regularly litigates copyright, trademark, trade dress and patent infringement cases; trademark counterfeiting, trademark dilution, unfair competition, and deceptive commercial advertising matters; violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act; and claims involving misappropriation of trade secrets.  Correspondingly, he helps clients with registration, valuation, licensing, assignment, sale and other transactional issues pertaining to copyrights, trademarks, patents and trade secrets.

Mr. Christie performs audits to determine the nature and extent of online trademark infringement through unauthorized registration of Internet domain names, use of metatag keywords, and advertising through sponsored linking.  He pursues arbitration and litigation against cybersquatters, typosquatters and other online infringers.  Mr. Christie also tracks down, identifies, and initiates legal proceedings against companies and individuals engaging in product counterfeiting and product diversion.

Mr. Christie provides counseling to companies on protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their proprietary business information security and electronic privacy laws and regulations.  He further assists companies in developing computer network incident response plans, providing guidance when these clients experience network security breaches and violations of network policies and procedures, conducting internal investigations of such breaches and violations, and litigating against those responsible for network intrusions.

Mr. Christie instructs companies on protecting personally identifiable information of customers and employees, investigates breaches of security of such information, provides guidance to such clients concerning their obligations in response to suc h breaches of security, assists clients in satisfying these obligations, and defends companies sued for data security breaches.

Prior to joining McCarter & English, Mr. Christie served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey where he headed the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Section of that office.

He was lead prosecutor in a major undercover investigation targeting Shadowcrew, an international criminal organization of approximately 4,000 members dedicated to malicious computer hacking, Internet fraud schemes, credit card fraud, and identity theft that concluded with the filing of criminal charges against 27 senior Shadowcrew members in the U.S. and the arrest of six members in four foreign countries.  Mr. Christie also successfully investigated and prosecuted numerous cases of Internet fraud, telecommunications fraud, dissemination of computer viruses, computer extortion, theft of electronic data, and malicious computer hacking as well as a wide variety of criminal copyright, trademark and trade secret theft cases.

Mr. Christie received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Colgate University and his J.D., cum laude, from the Harvard Law School.  Upon graduation from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Christie is recognized in the 2006-2009 editions of Best Lawyers in America.


Jason Falciola
Advisory Member
Jason Falciola pursues his passion to help clients navigate the intersection of business priorities, technical security challenges, and the regulatory compliance landscape as a Technical Account Manager with Qualys.  Jason's areas of expertise include vulnerability management, wireless security, advanced analytics, incident response, and security architecture.  He also has strengths in business resilience, web application security, forensic investigations, threat intelligence collection, IT governance, and risk management.

Jason has advised many organizations around the world, including government agencies, educational institutions, and firms in the Fortune 1000 and Global 2000.  He has trained practitioners from leading global organizations on wireless security.  Jason is a regular speaker at domestic and international events including FIRST, InfraGard, InterOp, ISSA, and various IBM conferences.

Jason is an advisory board member for the NJ chapter of the FBI InfraGard Alliance, and is also a member of the US Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).  He serves on the SANS GIAC Advisory Board and holds GIAC certifications in Assessing Wireless Networks (GAWN) and Incident Handling (GCIH).  Jason received a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a master's degree in Management of Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.  He has over a decade of professional experience, with the majority of that time focused on security.


Barbara Farrington
FBI - Chapter Coordinator

Barbara Farrington has served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since 1987.  During that time, she has investigated a variety of federal violations, primarily in the White Collar Crime and Cyber areas.  She has been assigned to the Louisville and Newark FBI Divisions and has been involved with the New Jersey Chapter of InfraGard for the past ten years.


Bob Kennedy

Robert J. Kennedy, CFP, CISSP, CIPP/G

Bob was most recently the IBM Global Sales Integration Executive for Internet Security Systems (ISS) for Sectors/Industries.  In this role Bob was responsible for integrating IBM's recent acquisition of ISS at the Sales (customer) level by Sector and Industry world wide.

Prior to this assignment Bob was the National Solutions Executive and Team Lead for the Safety & Security Solution Unit for Public Sector in the Americas.  In this job Bob was responsible for understanding customer's requirements for safety, security and privacy and matching these requirements with the hardware, software, services and research capabilities of IBM and its business partners.  As such he was an advisor to IBM's customers and sales force.  As part of this role Bob was a frequent customer speaker at the IBM Hawthorne Industrial Lab and Palisades Executive Education Center as well as RSA, CSI, the NY Metro and NJ chapters of Infragard.

Bob joined IBM in 1977 after serving six years as an officer in the US Army where he first became familiar with many aspects of physical security and security operation.  While at Ft. Leavenworth, Bob also had a research and development responsibility for Battlefield Identifications Friend or Foe (Identity Management).  In IBM he has held various sales, management, delivery (infrastructure services and outsourcing) and consulting positions since starting in Springfield, Massachusetts.  Bob assumed responsibility, cross sector, for Security & Privacy Solutions for the Americas in 2003.  As part of this responsibility Bob initially specialized in banking and identity theft and has had the opportunity to meet with most of the CISO's in that industry.  He was one of IBM's representatives to the National Standards Committee for ISO 17799, a member of IBM's Data Governance Council and the Security Business Advisory Council (Business Partners).

Bob has an MBA from Missouri State University and a BS in Management and Economics from Northeastern University.  Bob is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional including Government Privacy (CIPP/G).  Bob also holds a USCG Masters License.



Gideon J. Lenkey

Gideon J. Lenkey, CISSP is the president and co-founder of Ra Security Systems, a New Jersey based Network Security Monitoring Company.  Gideon currently specializes in vulnerability assessment of IT infrastructures. Other professional interests include advanced hacker tools and techniques as well as Internet counter-intelligence methodologies. Gideon holds a CISSP certification from the ISC2 and is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigations Association as well as the Computer Security Institute.


Les Morton

Les Morton, CISSP, CISA, CPA, CISM, CIPP is the Information Protection Manager at Public Service Enterprise Group and was previously in management positions at ITT, General Instrument, Warner Lambert, CBS, and Prudential Insurance.  His area is responsible for comprehensive security governance, security awareness, and computer forensic investigations and forensic litigation support.  Les is an active member of the High Tech Crime Investigators Association, the American Society for Industrial Security, and other security and control related organizations.


Donna M. Parsons
Secretary
Donna M. Parsons is a college instructor with over nine years experience delivering a wide variety of Computer Science courses including those specifically related to Computer Forensics, Information and Network Security, Linux, Adobe, CompTIA and Microsoft.  She has consistently been recognized as an academic leader in today's constantly changing, dynamic, and challenging world of technology. Donna is the President of Tech Exec Consulting, L.L.C., an enterprise that specializes in Information Security solutions and training to corporations, government, and financial institutions.  For more than 25 years, she has deployed her techniques in system management and administration, threat identification and analysis, data mining and forensic recovery.  She has garnered many certifications from worldwide providers in the computer and technology arena.  Donna is a 2007 Graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy.  Donna serves as a volunteer to the Explorers of the Jackson Police Department, and Literacy Volunteers (LVA) of Ocean County, N.J.


Dan TumSuden
Treasurer
Dan obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.  Shortly after, Dan joined IBM in July of 1987 and has been hooked on security ever since.  He started his IBM career as a member of the RACF mainframe security team.   Dan held various positions in RACF Design and Development and contributed to many RACF and OS/390 Security Server releases while working in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley.  Next, he worked as a member of the IBM SecureWay Competency Centre.  As a member of this world-wide team, Dan assisted the field force, and educated customers, on IBM's I/T Security products and solutions.  In December 1998, Dan was recognized by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc., as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).  In 1999 he joined the Tivoli Security team as a Security I/T Specialist assisting clients in the Northeast with Tivoli Security solutions.  Dan next moved into a Tivoli enablement role in 2003 where he assisted clients throughout the Americas with security and management needs.  In April 2005, Dan joined SOA Software as Sales and Technical Director in the Metro New York region.  With SOA Software he assisted clients with Web services security, management, and governance needs.  In 2006, Dan joined Encode Inc. as an Account Manager.  He currently assists clients with best practice solutions and services involving security and identity management.  Dan has presented numerous security topics at GUIDE and SHARE technical conferences, RACF conferences, ITSO security workshops, Tivoli Conferences, and IBM briefing centers.


Jody Washkewicz
Program Chairperson
Jody is a security manager for Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., responsible for multiple facilities located in the Northeastern United States.  Jody is a graduate of the University of Delaware and was formally commissioned into the United Staes Army in 1981.  Jody spent 11 1/2 years in the Army at various posts throughout the world, resigning his commission in late 1992.  Shortly after his release from the Army, Jody began working for ADP at its Jersey City location.  Since employed by ADP, Jody has modernized ADP's data collection, entry, analysis and recordkeeping processes, moving them away from a manual process to an automated process.  After Broadridge's spin-off from ADP, Jody has continued to modernize the security technology at Broadridge.

Jody is an active member of New Jersey InfraGard and has been a Chapter member since February, 2000 and the Program Co-chairperson since January of 2008.  Jody is also a graduate of the FBI's Citizens Academy and a Certified Protection Professional.


Jim Wilcox
Advisory Member
Jim is the AVP of Risk Administration at Affinity Federal Credit Union.  He is responsible for physical and information security, business continuity, insurance and investigations, and BSA/AML/ATF.  He began his career in 1975 at the Savings Bank of Central Jersey.  From 1975 to 1983 he worked his way from teller to AVP-Training and Security Officer.  In 1983 he transferred to First Atlantic Savings where he served as Vice President - Director of Corporate Security until November of 1991.  He served as Department Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the The Resolution Trust Company (RTC) from 1991 - 1992 and went into private practice as a Security Consultant from 1992-1996.  In 1996 he was the Senior Auditor at United National Bank and resigned as AVP-Data Security Analyst.

Jim received his A.A. at Somerset County College, his B.A. in secondary education at Kean College, his M.A. in Education Administration and Supervision from Kean College, and Chubb.  He is also a graduate of the FBI Citizen's Academy.  He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and was a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).  In 1991 he received a commendation from the IRS-CID for assistance in an international money laundering investigation, U.S. vs. Julio Montes, et. al.
